	Poughkeepsie Day School partners with current and prospective families to make a PDS education an affordable reality.  Over 30% of PDS families receive needs-based financial aid assistance.  How to Apply Deadlines For the 2012-2013 school year, first round financial aid applications are due by February 1, 2012. Required Documents Please forward the following documents to the PDS admissions office: 2010 and 2011 1040 tax returns including W2s, and, where appropriate, all business taxes and schedules, and business and farm statements. Submit the Online Form Notes 1) When reviewing annual requests for aid renewals, Poughkeepsie Day School reserves the right to adjust awards to reflect changes in a family’s financial situation. 2) No financial aid application is considered by the committee on financial aid unless the current year’s tuition has been paid in full by February 1. 3) Tuition for pre-kindergarten, and in some cases, for part of the costs of full-day kindergarten, may be tax deductible as child care expenses. Please consult your accountant or tax advisor to determine whether you may qualify for these tax advantages.
