Parents are a vital part of the PDS community. They support the school in meaningful ways, from volunteering in the library to organizing the spring benefit auction, our largest fundraiser each year. Parents are our schools' greatest fans, turning out for drama productions, cheering teams from the sidelines at games, attending class presentations, chaperoning field trips and participating in school activities. At PDS we welcome the diverse perspectives and contributions that parents bring to the community. We look to parents for support, feedback and fresh ideas, and we encourage them to play an active role in the community.
The Parents Association (PDSPA) supports the work of the school and promotes its mission. Every parent is automatically a member. The PDSPA organizes and facilitates parent involvelment, planning programs of interest and sponsoring events that build community.
