Each summer, Poughkeepsie Day School offers programs to encourage active, hands-on learning in a relaxed, learner-centered and fun-filled environment.
PDS Summer Camp 2012 features three one-week sessions (June 18 - July 6) for children ages 3-14. Each day is packed with creative, engaging activities and plenty of opportunities for free play - both indoors and out, community building and friend making. Click here to find out more!
Jazz Camp at Poughkeepsie Day School is new this summer! Open to Hudson Valley area students of all levels, ages 12 to 18, the camp features professional area musicians as teachers as well as guest artists and runs from July 23-27. Young Writers' Summer Institute is a unique one-week session (July 16-20) for students that will be entering grades 6-9 in fall 2012. Conveniently located at Poughkeepsie Day School, this workshop is designed to help young writers find their own voice, develop ideas and creativity and learn new digital writing skills.
