Poughkeepsie Day School is a private, independent, co-educational school serving students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 from throughout the mid-Hudson Valley. The school has developed educated citizens with a passion for learning and living since 1934. It promotes curious and independent learners: critical thinkers who know how to ask questions and solve problems. Creativity, collaboration and active learning are the hallmarks of a PDS education. Integrity, responsibility and mutual respect are the hallmarks of the PDS school community. Typically, each year one-hundred percent of the school's seniors are admitted to a college of their choice.
