3 - 4 Newspaper: 21st Times

Shirley Rinaldi's 3-4 class has created a newspaper, 21st Times. The paper includes reports about classroom events as well as articles on topics that the students generated. Students learned how to write a lead sentence, research facts, interview, use a digital camera and search for images on the Internet. They typed their articles using IBM laptops in Microsoft Word. All work was later copied and pasted into an Adobe Pagemaker layout. Thanks to the advisors on this project, Shirley Rinaldi, and middle school technology teacher Laurie Giardino. Great job, kids!
