The people who work at Poughkeepsie Day School are diverse, multi-talented, highly qualified and good at what they do. The faculty play a vital role in the lives of students. They model commitment to lifelong learning, intellectual development and ethical conduct. They foster positive, caring relationships to help students develop key life skills of collaboration, compassion and conflict resolution. Our faculty and staff also bring with them unique backgrounds that enrich the school daily. They hold degrees in the humanities, education, science, the social sciences and the arts. Many have prior experience at other independent schools, which enables them to fully appreciate the PDS mission and values.
