Like most independent schools, PDS makes an appeal each year to
all members of the school community to support the Annual Fund.
These gifts constitute the most important source of funds available
to PDS and are essential to making--and keeping--it the truly special
place that it is.
The Annual Fund provides the school with the necessary flexibility
to meet areas of highest institutional need, such as competitive
faculty salaries, student financial aid, improved technology and
campus maintenance. Your tax-deductible gift to the PDS Annual
Fund enables us to keep tuition increases moderate and this
distinctive institution healthy and strong.
Since tuition does not cover the actual cost of educating each
student, PDS relies on the Annual Fund to bridge the gap
between tuition revenue and the school's total operating expenses.
The level of participation in the Annual Fund is also important,
demonstrating the level of our community's commitment to PDS. So,
please give today to the Annual Fund. Gifts of any size are welcome;
we ask that you make PDS a philanthropic priority and give as generously
