Dear PDS Parents,

Please be sure to save the date of Saturday, April 16, 2005 for our Party with the Arts Auction. Plan to join fellow parents, alumni/ae, faculty and friends for a fabulous evening of dinner, dancing and wonderful auction items. The success of the evening is based on the contributions everyone makes to this event and there are many ways you can participate.

All the forms you need are right here!

Help us underwrite aspects of this event

We need your help! Thank you.

To begin with, we need donations…lots of donations. We hope that donors will consider the arts theme when considering what they may want to give to this very worthy cause; however any and all donations are appreciated. The arts theme is broad; for example it can include music, dance, theater, paintings, drawings, photography, pottery, crafts, handmade jewelry, antiques, etc. If a donation is not arts-related, we will creatively package it to reflect our theme. For example, a gift certificate to a restaurant will be packaged with a music CD. So, when looking for donations, think big, be creative and be resourceful. We need antiques, vacation homes, airline miles, signed memorabilia and more! There are probably many restaurants, museums or stores that you frequent that would be glad to make a donation to a program that furthers children’s education. Contact them now!

You could be here! This lakefront setting, attached to a Berkshires "cottage," will be among the many, many items on the auction block on April 16.

And, to that end, we need items! Click here to download the auction gift form!

You may have a special ability or area of expertise that would be a marvelous donation. The talents and creativity of the PDS community are unsurpassed and this is a great way of highlighting the diversity of our community. Services – as well as goods – are very welcome.

For business owners, there will also be an opportunity to highlight your business with an ad in the auction program. Indeed there is some way for everyone to get involved in this event. (Download ad form.)

Please pick up blank auction gift forms from Anita Jones, at the front desk at Gilkeson Center. You can also download the form by clicking here. Completed forms can be dropped off at Anita’s desk or be mailed to the school. Feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions.

We look forward to a festive, successful evening and appreciate your help and participation! Get ready to party!

Best regards,
