The Poughkeepsie Day School Parents' Organization (PDSPO--also
know as the "PO") was organized to facilitate parental
participation in the life of the school. All parents of currently
enrolled students are automatically members of the PDSPO. From organizing
classroom and advisor group potluck suppers, to helping build the
school's new and improved playground, to orchestrating such perennial
favorite events as the spring auction, current parents--as well
as alumni/ae parents and grandparents--are at the heart of our community.
Volunteering through the PDSPO is not only essential to the ongoing
health and vitality of the school, it's a great way to get to know
other parents. We strongly encourage it!
Please note that the PDSPO files formerly located on the PDS Web
site (including the PDSPO weekly newsletter, information on volunteer
opportunities, etc.) have been moved to the PDS portal, to which
all current PDS parents have access.
